Printing Notation Results in Symbols, Not Notes
One of the most common problems Windows users experience with TablEdit involves the printing font.
You may find unusual symbols being printed instead of musical notes. If TablEdit is newly installed, try restarting your computer. Otherwise, you need to reinstall the font file.
- Exit the TablEdit program
- In Windows folder > Fonts folder > find and delete the file tef260.ttf
- Open TablEdit. The font file should be reinstalled automatically and correctly.
Note: Windows XP users may need to manually re-install the font file:
- Control Panel > Fonts > File menu > Install New Font > find and click tef260.ttf in TablEdit folder > OK.
