Entering Notes

• TablEdit is a tablature-based program. If difficulties occur while entering or editing a note in standard notation, returning to the tablature, to enter the exact string and fret, will usually correct the problem.
• Red notes in Tablature indicate timing errors. Click on red note number in tablature and choose the correct note-length from the note palette. If you don't know the correct note length, press the letter j to see what TablEdit suggests.
• Use the Tab key to move the cursor to the correctly timed position of the next note.
